Luke: A Gentile’s Chronicle of Christ 49

Jesus continues to address the crowd that witnessed his casting out of a demon causing muteness. To those who had accused Christ of being in league with the evil one, he used the word picture of a strong warrior guarding his castle. Then noted that a stronger warrior is able to disarm the man and pluder his possessions. Jesus likewise shared the reality of demons who return to their host human if they have not filled their heart with the presence of God.
