Following the parable of the rich fool, Jesus identifies one of the primary issues pertaining to the problem of greed. He instructs the disciples and listening crowd not to fall into a habit of worry. Their lack of trust in God for their daily provisions is the root of a loss of focus on the Lord to their own self-sufficiency.
