Luke 5:1-11; The first of a short summer sermon series on biblical fishing. Jesus was preaching along the shore of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel, when the crowd was nearly pushing Him into the water. He boarded a nearby boat and asked Simon to put out into the water so he could teach. When Jesus was finished, He instructed Simon and helpers to put out in deeper water and let down their nets….following a long night with no catch.
