Luke's condensed version of the Sermon on the Mount continues on a very stern note. Jesus instructs His followers not to judge or condemn fellow believers, but rather liberally apply grace and mercy. He uses the metaphor of a plank in the eye of a person who is attempting to remove a speck of sawdust from the eye of another.
