Following the horrific torture of the demonic locusts of the 5th trumpet and the four fallen angels released from the Ephrates river to bring about the deaths of 1/3 of the remaining population, John observes a very stark reality. Despite the warming from the Lord to those who have rejected His offer of Salvation in Christ, they remained hard hearted and unmoved. The vast majority contine to worship demons through their idols and partake of sinfulness that defy Yahweh's statutes.
