Colossians 2:9-15; The Apostle Paul used the cross and resurrection as the foundation of his doctrinal instruction to the early church. He brought together the full Deity of Christ, spiritual circumcision, purpose of baptism and the victory of Jesus over all spiritual powers into one expansive unit of instruction.

To those who are perishing, the Gospel is foolishness. Until the moment when they will face the Risen Lord, and the horror of their”autonomy “ becomes apparent. I thank God that when He spoke and called my name, I listened. Many people believe they are Christians only because the don’t believe in anything else. They haven’t heard Him call because they weren’t listening and did not call out to Him.
“If it is truly you Lord, call me and I will come to you.” And even when we sink, He is there to take our hand and calm the storms. Peter knew.. and still called out.
