Numbers 16:1-18; Following the encouragment of Numbers 15, a group of 250 Levites lead by Korah challenge the leadership authority of Moses and Aaron. They are joined by some members of the tribe of Reuben who claim Moses has failed to lead them to the Promised Land. In response, Moses demands they take their complaint before Yahweh at the tent of meetings to see who will receive divine approval.
