Luke 12:8-12; Jesus continues teaching the disciples and growing crowd, by revealing that public acknowledgement of Him is a crucial requirment of a faithful servant. Those who are obedient are likewise acknowledged before the angels in heaven, while those who disown Him will be disowned before the angelic witnesses. An additional warning about blasphemy against the Holy Spiirt is also given, because the Spirit will empower those under persecution to speek wisely before their accusers.
