Luke 3:10-20; After hearing John the Baptist’s sermons in the wilderness, the crowds were spurred on to action beyond repentance. They asked, “What should we don then?” and John addressed each group according to their standing in the Israelite community. They crowds were also wondering if John was the prophesized Messaiah, but he immediately noted that one greater than he was coming, who would baptized witht he Holy Spirit and fire.
