John 15:5-8; After defining His relatioship to the Father and developing the metaphor of grape vines for His followers in v.1-4, Jesus continues by restating the vital necessity of remaining in Him. Christ promises to remain in those who remain in Him, so they can bear “much fruit”. However branches that apart from Christ are spiritually dead and will ultimately be thrown into the fire of Divine Judgement. Those who progress in Gods Word will have a vital prayer life and bring glory to the Father.

Wow. Thank you for preaching the truth and reminding me of a detail that became lost in my volunteer work down here. Those that come to the center fall into all 3 categories. They need discipleship as well as truth for one visit. They don’t always want a follow up, but I must make the attempt more often. Not to judge on others past behavior;
