Luke: A Gentile’s Chronicle of Christ 69

The dinner party passage continues with Jesus making a suggestion to the host, a "Prominent Pharisee". Instead of inviting family and friends to such banquets, rather invite the poor, lame and blind who cannot repay the kindness. In that way, the blessing from the Lord will be experineced at the feast in the kingdom of God. Then Jesus illustrates the topic with a parable.
